I'm Juha Liikala, a software engineer based in Oulu, Finland. I've been building things on the web for two decades, currently at Black Duck.

This site is a slow log — a record of what's happening, what I'm watching, listening to, and thinking about. I write when there's something worth writing about.

I travel a few times a year, usually to faraway places. Those trips sometimes end up here too.
